I have been suffering recurrent excruciating prolonged gallbladder attacks, I am unable to eat a lot of the time due to food causing an attack & of course the fear of triggering the onset of one too. I have modified my diet, ensuring I adhere to the recommendations but yet I continue to suffer.
I am a single mum working full time. I also have long standing depression and have suffered all my life as a consequence and this is making things ten times worse.
My pain has been unmanaged with analgesia and have had several visits to the accident and emergency department with indescribable pain.
I am a single woman who has worked all my life and rely solely on my income alone. I am unable to work a lot of the time due to these attacks and frequently having to leave work also.
I have had an appointment with a surgeon and informed I'd wait years for surgery. I have colysystitis and was told although I need to have this removed it would not be a priority. I understand the demand and pressure on the NHS, however I absolutely cannot go through anymore of this, I really can’t.
