From entering to exiting Clinic F, at New Stobhill Hospital, I experienced professionalism, patience, kindness, understanding and respect.
At my appointment, Dr Khaund quickly relieved my own anxieties. To have medical professionals really listen to you, provide clear explanations and take your concerns on board, whilst finding an appropriate way forward in terms of investigations, was very much appreciated. Her openness, care, professionalism and expertise made my visit more than manageable.
With your appointment letter, you should receive an information booklet to help you prepare for your visit. It includes information on tests/procedures, why they might be required and what you can do to prepare in advance. With this advance info/advice on procedures, Dr Khaund is clearly doing what she can to minimise the fears/anxieties many women have about attending and alleviate the potential pain/discomfort some procedures may bring.
Thank you Dr Khaund’s team of Kayleigh and her colleague. You both put me at ease with your professionalism, reassurance, kindness, care and appropriate gentle good humour. It made all the difference.
I had a more than three month wait (from date of my GP referral as a result of post-menopausal spotting), to be seen at Clinic F. Obviously our NHS is facing enormous challenges and a considerable backlog of appointments. In addition to the worry this causes patients, it really must pile on the stress for clinic staff. It cannot be easy to work under such pressure. It is comforting to know that caring professionals in the NHS continue to be there for patients and maintain the struggle to provide these much-needed services. Thank you.
