"Treated with Absolute kindness"

About: Accident & Emergency / Children's A&E

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter fell and hurt her ankle badly. After going through NHS24, they advised they had no minor injuries spaces so we presented at A&E. It was busy, as expected but staff were so understanding and the entire process took under 2 hours.

Special mentions to Diane the triage nurse, Jane the ANP and Carly the radiographer who all made my daughter feel in safe hands and treated her (and me!) with absolute kindness.

Dear TammyNorrie

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of the care provided within the Emergency Department with us via Care Opinion

I am sorry to hear that you needed to attend the hospital after your daughter fell and injured her ankle, but glad to know that you received such prompt, professional and compassionate care from our all of our staff there.

When times are challenging, it’s always nice to hear such positive feedback from our patients and their relatives and it will be my pleasure to share your feedback with the wider Team in the Department and in particular with Diane, Jane and Carly. I know they will all be delighted to receive this feedback and to know that you felt so well supported whilst you were under their care

I do hope your daughter is feeling better now and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind Regards

Pamela
