I had my handbag on the hospital table, the one where we eat in bed. A nurse came and put my handbag on the floor. I said that they couldn’t do that, and they turned their back and went away.
After this I asked the nurse for tea and they said their job was not giving tea so I had to wait for someone else.
After 1 hour I called the nurse and said I needed my handbag that they put on the floor. They pointed their finger and told me you stand up from the bed, come to this side and pick up your bag. I was just coming from a surgery to my belly full of stitches, couldn’t even cough or laugh, imagine picking things from the floor.
I told the nurse - first you put my handbag on the floor, which is not hygienic. Second, you put it there you have to pick it up. Third, you can’t talk like that with me as I am a patient and you are here to take care of us, not to argue or be unpolite. They turned their face and said something moaning and they were never polite with me.
Even when I came home they were like looking inside of my backpack like suspecting that I had something from the hospital and asking what I had that could be so heavy and leading me to the way out like literally discharging me from the hospital.
The nurse was really nice with a patient that was in the bed beside mine. But to me they were rude, impolite and arrogant .
