"Poor service"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Rheumatology

(as a service user),

I was booked in for a telephone consultation to discuss rheumotology early morning - no call happened.  I waited until the afternoon and I rang them to be told that my appointment had been cancelled.  No-one let me know that.  I was told that they would get someone to give me a call to re-arrange.  No-one did.  Rang again the following morning and was twice divereted to the wrong department.  Finally spoke to somone who did not know what I was talking about or where to direct me.  I am appalled.

Many thanks for your feedback. I am sorry your experience was a bad one. I would be grateful if you could email us direct to rduh.rheumatology-northern@nhs.net with your details so we can investigate this further and see where this went wrong and improve our services for the future.
