About: University Hospital Ayr / Cardiology

(as the patient),

Had pacemaker fitted at Ayr hospital recently. Apprehensive about this but absolutely all the staff I met were wonderful and did everything to put me at ease. Everything was explained and all my questions answered. I am now back home. Thank you everyone.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the care provided by the Cardiology Service within University Hospital Ayr

I am sorry to hear that you required an admission to hospital to have a pacemaker fitted, but glad to know that you found all of our staff to be wonderful whilst you were under their care. It’s often the attention to the small details that can make such a big difference in reassuring patients and resulting in a positive experience for them.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Team in the Department, which I know they will be delighted to receive
