"Fast and exceptional care"

I discovered a lump in my breast where I’d had a similar one a couple of years ago. Made an appointment with my Dr & was seen later the same day. We both felt it was a recurrence of the previous cyst but she referred me to the breast clinic at RDE Exeter. I got a text within couple of days with an appointment set for 10 days later. Arrived at the hospital 8.30am for 9.00am appointment on said date. Completed a questionnaire & was examined by consultant 15 minutes later. Went for mammogram & ultrasound which confirmed it was a cyst. Cyst aspirated by Dr there & then. Back to original consultant to be discharged. 

On the bus home by 10am. Unbelievable, so fast, all medical professionals and hospital members of staff were polite, sensitive & reassuring. Thank you NHS for your exceptional care in what could have been a very different outcome.
