"Attendance for 24hr blood pressure monitor"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Cardiology

(as a service user),

Attended Hairmyres hospital, made contact at reception desk about 5 minutes before my appointment time. Staff confirmed my attendance and details and asked me to take a seat reception staff were polite helpful and pleasant. Around 10 minutes after my appointment time I was asked for by Lorraine to come through. We covered the usual checks about my details and then proceeded to have monitor fitted. Lorraine was pleasant, polite and in good spirits which would assist in keeping patients at ease. Lorraine proceeded to explain the equipment and what would happen going over the associated paperwork. Ensuring I was aware of any specific details including in relation to driving. 

Overall a pleasant and simple experience.
