"Medication dramatically reduced blood pressure"

About: Exeter Community Hospital / Outpatients

(as the patient),

I had Covid which attacked my kidneys & led to high blood pressure.

I ended up in A&E with the highest blood pressure recorded & lived.

Afterwards I saw doctor & they put me on medication to reduce my blood pressure.

It has dramatically reduced my blood pressure, so much so it is on the low side now.

I do have concerns about the effect on my legs, with severe itching & rashes.

I am still fuzzy headed & have erection problems.

Hi novemberdk76

I am glad you have recovered from your covid, but sorry you are still experiencing problems.

I would recommend you arrange to see your GP who can assess these for you, and then can refer back to appropriate specialists if required.

Best wishes
