I recently experienced pain early in my pregnancy and for reassurance I called the EPAS. I was called back in a very timely manner and the midwife I spoke to initially was reassuring and asked me to come in. When I arrived the midwife I met at first was friendly and helpful. It was a welcoming atmosphere stepping into the unit which was reassuring.
The midwife sonographer who performed the scan was extremely compassionate, patient and understanding. She put me at ease straight away and explained everything she was doing and why. This was very important to me as I was anxious. She was quick to reassure me and chatty throughout which really made the experience positive. Her name was Eileen and I was so thankful for the time she took and the care she provided. Thank you very much for a positive care and experience.
