"The attentive and caring nature of the staff made her feel at ease"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I attended ED at Monklands with my daughter who had broken her collarbone. I want to say thank you to the staff for the care that they provided to my daughter who has a learning disability, the attentive and caring nature of the staff made her feel at ease. Thank you to the Nurse, Madeline, and to the two doctors who attended to my daughter.  We were seen and allowed home within three hours which we were very thankful for.

Dear Andrewmx25,

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Monklands, Emergency Department.

I am sorry to hear that your daughter broke her collarbone. What a worrying time it must have been for you. I am so pleased to read that you received excellent care from Madeline and the doctors who attended your daughter. I am glad that they helped to make her feel at ease. This must have been very reassuring for you as a worried parent.

I will ensure your kind words are passed on to Madeline and the team who I am sure will get a real boost in hearing your feedback.

I hope your daughter is recovering well.

Best Wishes,

Jenni
