"Thanks to her support I feel much stronger"

I found myself moving quite slowly and needed considerable assistance from my wife with most task. My mobility and strength were very poor.

A lovely lady named Liya from Winchester therapy team has been visiting me over the past month. She provided me with an exercise programme to help improve my strength. Liya is very knowledgeable, kind and patient. Thanks to her support, I feel much stronger and my mobility has improved significantly, I can now take shower without needing my wife's help. Everyday tasks are becoming much easier.

My wife and i have been thoroughly impressed by Liya. Her thoughtful encouragement, including the cheerful stickers she gives me during her visits has been a wonderful source of motivation. We deeply appreciate her patience and kindness.

Having Liya here has been a great comfort to us not only because of the exercise but also because of her genuine care and encouragement. We will miss her dearly. A heartfelt thank you to Liya and the nhs team.
