"The patience and care was amazing"

(as a carer),

My mum is in her 90s, suffers from mixed dementia, osteoarthritis and spondylitis. At the request of her GP, I recently took mum for X-Rays at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

The patience and care shown by staff within the department was amazing. I was initially allowed to accompany her into the radiology room to keep her calm, and after I had to move to another room at least three staff assisted her into different positions to allow the X-rays to be taken, at all times providing reassurance and keeping her calm.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback regarding your Mums visit to Radiology. I am very grateful for your positive and reassuring comments. I am so pleased your Mum was able to be x-rayed in a supportive environment, in what would have been quite a foreign environment for her.
