"She was extremely well looked after"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Acute Receiving Unit (Units 1-5) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Elderly Medicine (Wards 51, 52, 54,55, 57, 8a & 2a)

(as a relative),

The GP referred my elderly mother to QEH acute admissions where she was dealt with promptly and with courtesy and dignity.

She was then transferred elsewhere before finally ending up on Ward 8A. It  was an extremely busy day but the young staff nurse in charge worked tirelessly to try and secure a bed for Mum and was very successful in the end.

She was then on the ward for 4 weeks where she was extremely well looked after.

Dear liberatoryt88

Thank you for sharing such kind feedback about your mother’s recent experience with us. We’re so glad to hear that she received prompt, courteous, and dignified care throughout her journey, from the acute admissions to her time on Ward 8A of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

It’s wonderful to know that the staff nurse in charge worked tirelessly to ensure your mother was well taken care of, even during what must have been a very busy day. We greatly appreciate the dedication and hard work shown by our team, and we’re thrilled to hear that your mother received excellent care throughout her 4-week stay.

We’ll be sure to share your feedback with the staff involved, as your appreciation means a great deal to them.

Kind regards

Kevin
