"An amazing service for our frail older population"

The DAFU/RAC is an amazing service for our frail older population.  I had my mother up at the unit last week and she was seen very quickly by a consultant, she was listened to and all of her health and social needs were all taken into consideration.  All relevant exams and procedures were done and my mum was able to go home and avoid an overnight stay in hospital.  All of the staff, doctors, nurses, physios, OT, reception staff and domestics were amazing.  They all made my mum and I feel welcome and at ease during a difficult time.  Thank you all.
