I don't believe a private company should be allowed to charge legitimate patients for parking in any of the car parks at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. I think patients should be able to show their proof of appointment when parking and have a ticket to scan when leaving the car park.
There could be many ways to stop people who work in Dundee from using the car parks and therefore taking up valuable parking places for genuine patients. It's a disgrace.
Attending the hospital is stressful enough without being given a parking fine for having to park in a tiny area over a line to make sure you make your appointment.
I believe it's well known that the hospital car park is being used by people who work in Dundee. Something really must be done about it. No excuses.
