"Appointment availability "

Having found that no emergency appointments were available on Monday I had to use out of hours service. Still had symptoms so as advised tried to get an appointment Friday. Have to queue as you cannot get day appointments on the phone. I struggled because of being unwell. No Dr appointments at 08.40. Accepted an ANP appointment. Cannot fault reception they do a hood job under tremendous pressure. I do feel that there isn't enough transparency as to why so few appointments are available. Saying its the population in the area isn't good enough

There must be more to it than that.
