"This was a wonderful experience"

About: Enhanced Care / GP out of hours

(as a parent/guardian),

I visited a Dr in the urgent care out of hours Craigavon towards the end of March at 8.15pm after receiving a call back 1hr prior for my daughter.

My daughter is primarily non verbal with severe learning disabilities and is also autistic.

The Dr that tended to my daughter was absolutely amazing she took her time with my daughter and listened fully to all my concerns as a worrying mum to a child that can not verbalise what’s wrong.

This wonderful lady didn’t rush us and she made my daughter feel at ease. Normally doctor visits are extremely distressing for my daughter and for me. She made sure that we had a suitable treatment for my Daughters needs also.

This was a wonderful experience and I wish we could have more experiences like these. She even complemented how good my daughter was. Which as a mum to a child with needs isn’t always the feedback that we receive. I can’t recall the lady’s Name. However, I would highly recommend this Doctor for treating patients with additional needs.
