"The staff were unbelievably kind"

(as a service user),

Hi I was in the Medical Day Unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary for a liver biopsy.

The staff were unbelievably kind, compassionate and went above and beyond to make sure I knew what would happen during the procedure and after. Student nurse Iris accompanied me to the Xray department and stayed throughout my procedure.

The porters were also very pleasant taking me to and from the department.

The Radiologist Dr was fantastic too. I need to mention also the auxiliary nurse who served me lunch and coffee throughout the afternoon. Now home and resting.

We are delighted to hear that the staff went above and beyond to ensure you were informed and supported throughout your liver biopsy procedure. Your kind words about Student Nurse Iris, highlight the dedication and care she brought to your experience.

We are also glad to know that the porters provided pleasant and considerate assistance during your visits, and that the Radiologist and auxiliary nurse contributed to making your time with us as comfortable as possible. It is heartening to hear how each team member played a role in supporting you and that you felt well cared for during your visit.
