(as a service user),

I just want to thank the Acute Care at Home team. The fantastic care my mother-in-law received on two different occasions—once at home and now secondly in the nursing home—has been amazing.

Lizzy is a 100-year-old lady, and going to the hospital environment can be both very unsettling and scary due to how busy it is. Lizzy received first-class treatment from very caring, professional staff who delivered fast, effective care, enabling her to stay in her own comfortable room with staff who know and care for her.

I can't thank them enough. This service needs to be developed further to assist in reducing hospital visits for our more vulnerable service users.
