I looked after an old man who died in his own house with the help of me, the Kilwining District Nurse team, and the council carers team. Without the carers and the district nursing team this would have been impossible because mentally I was broken and on my knees.
There visits through out the day gave me hope, comfort and a small relief.
They saved my sanity, probably my life because my thinking had become so distorted my life was dark. With there and the carers support, guidance, wisdom, and genuine care they got me through one of the most distressing times of my life.
I cannot thank them all enough, they are all TRULY SPECIAL PEOPLE,and they do not get the credit they deserve,so ones more thank yous so much, anytime I bump into one I smile and say Hello
"They are all truly special people"
