(as a carer),

I looked after an old man who died in his own house with the help of me, the Kilwining District Nurse team, and the council carers team. Without the carers and the district nursing team this would have been impossible because mentally I was broken and on my knees.

There visits through out the day gave me hope, comfort and a small relief.

They saved my sanity, probably my life because my thinking had become so distorted my life was dark. With there and the carers  support, guidance, wisdom, and genuine care they got me through one of the most distressing times of my life.

I cannot thank them all enough,they are all TRULY SPECIAL PEOPLE,and they do not get the credit they deserve,so ones more thank yous so much, anytime I bump into one I smile and say Hello

I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide this heartfelt feedback on the care and comfort that you received from both the District Nursing and North Ayrshire Care at Home services. I am really pleased to hear that they were able to support you during such a difficult time.
