"Great Healthcare Facility But"

About: Swallowfield Medical Practice

My daughter is an NHS Sister and I would never criticise them because we love the NHS. My only misgiving with this Practice is, I have to receive regular medication. My problem is when I request this as it could take up to 5 working days as well I know, when I order in plenty of time I never receive it on time, so I have numerous days going without medication which put me in a really bad physical and dangerous position. I’ve tried to address this to get notes left for the pharmacy but still I’m always receiving medication late and being very dangerously ill because of this. I wish somebody would take it serious that just by not having our medication puts me in a very dangerous health position. And most of all the pain that I have to endure because of no medication, I would not wish it on anyone but I have to suffer it. Why can’t a review being undertaken to allow people who receive regular medication to order a couple of days early so we don’t run out?

You are able to put your medication request in early and our dispensary team will hold the medication until the day its due.

If you would like to discuss further, please call our mainline and ask to speak with myself. my working hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm.
