I found it extremely difficult to book an appointment. I was given an appointment four weeks later for a telephone appointment, which isn’t acceptable as I needed a face-to-face appointment with a GP but the receptionist said they don’t offer face-to-face appointments. I needed to be examined and was then told it would take another 2 weeks for a face-to-face appointment. During that time I became unwell with sepsis and kidney failure and was admitted to hospital for emergency treatment.
I am disappointed at Studholme - they should be offering patients timely face-to-face appointments and they don’t, which is causing harm to patients. The manager is very unhelpful and seems to take no responsibility and he has absolutely no insight into how serious Studholme’s failings are.
