"They were very helpful in answering questions"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Tissue Viability

(as the patient),

* Compression bandages & dressings stripped,

* Doppler test carried out to confirm veinous ulcers.

* Inflammation noted around ulcers.

* primary dressings changed from Honey to Viscopaste.

* Compression bandaging reapplied.

* T. V. Nurse very helpful in assessing condition of wound, amending primary dressing type to more suitable type. This is already leading to reduced pain. She was also very helpful in answering my questions and explaining my veinous insufficiency.

Hi Wicklow

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience in the Tissue Viability Clinic. I am pleased to hear that this appointment allowed for a full assessment of your wound and identification of the most suitable treatment plan which has helped with managing your pain.

As a Senior Manager within the Tissue Viability, I will share your feedback with the team.

Best wishes

Lorraine
