"grateful to every one of them"

About: Rapid Response Teams / Rapid response team Omagh

(as the patient),

I had a new hip in Altnagelvin and I was in for 5 weeks when the Sister asked me if I would travel to Omagh hospital from home twice a day to receive treatment and then the nurses would come out to me twice a day as well to give me my antibiotics through a picc line in my arm.

To get to Omagh hospital from my house is a 32 mile round trip, so I was very tired after the travelling.

The nurses were angels. They tried to do their best to work it so that they could come out to me more often.

I can't thank them enough for what they did for me.

I am glad that I went to this department in Omagh.

Everyone was dedicated to their job, they were like family to me. They made sure to contact me straight away if they could come to me to save me from travelling.

I am grateful to every one of them.

Dear jaceb74,

Many thanks for taking the time to review our service and that you had a very positive encounter, these reviews help shape our service in the future.

We take each case individually and when there is an obvious clinical need for increased home visits we will always do our best.

I will share this response with all the team as they will be delighted to read such kind and positive comments.

Can I take this opportunity to wish you well with the remainder of your recovery.

Kind regards

Sr. Oonagh Andrews
