"My confidence has returned and so has a normal life"

(as the patient),

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV): Vestibular Physio

In November 2024 I took ill with an acute bout of the above and after 3 months still having problems with my balance, I was referred to a vestibular physio at Falkirk Community Hospital. My physio, Jean, explained in detail my condition, why my balance wasn't improving and how certain exercises could help me get back on track.

After three physio sessions and diligently doing the exercises Jean had given me, my balance was greatly improved and thanks to this support, I am back to full health. My confidence has returned and so has a normal life. I am now back to taking my daily walks, shopping, driving and carrying out all the activities I was able to do before I succumbed to the BPPV.

I can't thank Jean and ReACH Falkirk enough for all they have done for me.

Hi RAC317 Thank you for taking the time to give positive feedback on your experience with Physiotherapist Jean and the treatment you had for BPPV. I am pleased to hear that with the advice and exercises given that within 3 sessions you are back to full health, that your confidence has returned and normal life has resumed for you. I will pass on your thanks to Jean and share this positive feedback with the wider team in ReACH Falkirk.
