(as a service user),

I was referred to speech and language therapy for my swallow. I got an appointment for an X-ray of my swallow, the girls where very helpful, the communication was excellent and everything was explained clearly. The information that I was given with swallow recommendations was very helpful and I am much more confident when eating and drinking. I also feel like I understand my throat problems and how to avoid coughing or choking during meal times. Thank you to the speech and language therapy girls they have been a great help.

We greatly appreciate that you have taken the time to give us feedback on our Speech and Language Therapy Service. It is so useful for us to hear that you appreciate the improved understanding you have of your throat problems and that you are now more confident in managing your eating and drinking, as a result of your visit with us. Thank you for sharing these positive outcomes. Our therapy staff really love to know that they are making a difference and delivering the service to a high standard.
