"I felt completely numb after this phone call"

I unfortunately miscarried at 10 weeks in March 2025 and had to phone the clinic for a sick note to cover me in work. As this clinic don't do face to face appointments I got what I think was a locum doctor on the phone. I was going through a very hard time with the misscarriage physically, emotionally and mentally and they never even as much as asked me how I was feeling or coping. They literally asked me where I worked and how much time I needed off. I felt completely numb after this phone call as I felt that they absolutely lacked compassion, kindness and humility.
