About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

I recently had a laparoscopy completed in day surgery unit. I was well looked after by Angela my nurse and the team on duty they all made me feel comfortable, settled and welcome.

The anaesthetic nurse and aesthetic consultant spoke me through everything that was happening and made me feel safe and comfortable chatting away to ease my nerves. To being looked after in recover with lovely nurse. I can’t thank the team enough. Xxx

It can be a worrying time attending hospital for a procedure and I am so pleased that Angela and the team looked after you so well and ensured you were comfortable. I am sure this must have been very reassuring for you.
