About: Barnstaple Health Centre / Barnstaple Sexual Health

(as a service user),

Appointment started immediately on time. Gentle and informative discussion around the implant and then height, weight and blood pressure taken. Every step explained clearly and kindly, local anaesthetic administered and kept distracted by a lovely chat with another nurse whilst the other removed the old implant and reinserted the new one. Took about 10 minutes in total to complete the procedure and then carefully bandaged.
