"This was a superb out of hours service"

About: NHS 24 / NHS 24 (111 service) Western Isles Hospital / Oral Surgery & Medicine

(as a service user),

I unfortunately had a very severe toothache with swelling. This was so severe that I was unable to properly close my mouth.

On calling NHS 24 I was quickly triaged and received a call back from a dental nurse. I was then called with a same day emergency appointment at NHS Western Isles dental centre. 

I received excellent care from dentist David and dental nurse Peigi, quickly identifying the problem and giving immediate treatment to relieve the pain.

This was a superb out of hours service for which I am very thankful
