"Amazing care in Paediatrics A&E department "

I really want to give show out gratitude to all the paediatric A&E staff at Whiston Hospital who treated our little boy this weekend.

Our two year old has always suffered with respiratory problems whenever he picks up a cold/virus. Oftentimes this escalates very quickly and, although my husband and I have become used to seeing it, it never gets any less scary or stressful.

The staff in the children’s A&E at Whiston are real life angels. Every single time, the staff treat us with empathy and compassion, put us all at ease, and are incredibly thorough in their monitoring and treatment. This weekend was no exception when our little one became poorly very quickly and was having difficulty breathing (even though they were completely run off their feet as the department was very busy). I feel so grateful to have a facility on our doorstep with such amazing doctors and nurses who always give their everything to help our little one. Thank you so much.
