"No doctors?"

About: Clifton House Medical Centre

It seems to be no working doctors in the practice as during 08:00-08:20 the automatic reply is “we are receiving many phone calls” and don’t put you in a queue, from around 08:20 the reply changes to “all appointments have been taken for today”. Even assuming that it is me only was unlucky during three weeks and it was no place in a queue for me, how many appointments can be booked during 20 minutes? Probably 10 on a highest speed, 2 minutes per call. So to see 10 patients per day will take no longer than 3-3.5 hours for a doctor. Which doesn’t seem to be real. No online form exists for the Clifton House Medical Centre, there is no any other way to book an appointment, just through the phone line.

Understanding that I pay taxes which then go from NHS to my GP surgery per registered patient, not per appointment is completely not fair on patients and on whole NHS system.

Saying this I should mention that a few months before this, I have been seen by 2 GP doctors in this clinic which were very helpful. I hope one day they will be back to work for other patients, however I will have to register with another practice as at the moment my health needs an attention.
