"Excellent care my mother received"

My mother was admitted to Glenmore unit 4 weeks  ago. From the moment she entered the unit all staff made her and our family feel really cared for. All staff from the senior nurse to the domestic staff  made a point of introducing themselves and getting  to know our mother and all who visited her.

The  level of care she received was excellent. Her consultant took  time to meet with us and lowered our anxiety. We were in the  unit  every day and  witnessed the  kindness  of all staff towards all patients  especially  those who had no visitors. 

My mother  received palliative  care to a very high standard within this unit and my family cannot praise the staff highly enough. They recognised how special our mother was to the family and made what was a difficult  time for our mother and us as easy as possible always going the extra mile to  accommodate the  family.

We will always be grateful  to them and wish that recognition  is given to standard of excellent practice
