"An excellent initiative"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Stroke Unit (Ward 11)

(as a service user),

While visiting my sister in law in ward 11, a nurse was accompanied with a foundation apprentice. She was a school pupil who spent some time in hospital hoping to enter the nursing profession after leaving school.

She was very professional and took my sister in law’s blood pressure.

What an excellent initiative.

Dear Basil,

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Wishaw, Stroke ward.

I am delighted to hear that you were impressed by this initiative and the foundation apprentice who took your sister in law's observations was professional in doing this. It sounds like they will make an excellent nurse in future.

I look forward to sharing your kind words with the team who I am sure will get a real boost in hearing your feedback.

I hope your sister in law is recovering well.

Best Wishes,

Jenni
