"What an amazing team"

I have been so nervous leading up to my twelve week scan/booking appointment with crippling fears and worries that my baby will not be ok.

When I walked into my appointment this morning I was met by compassionate staff who put me at ease and explained everything that would happen at my appointment, I felt completely listened to and supported by the wonderful midwifery team in BHCC and I feel so thankful to say that my baby is growing well and their heart is strong. 

I want to thank the kindest midwife, Denise and Claire and their wonderful midwifery student Niamh; words will not truly express how greatful I am to them both for the kindness they showed me when I was overwhelmed, the knowledge they shared with me when answering all my questions and for honestly putting me at complete ease. Thank-you seems so small for the impact you have had on me today but because of the way I was treated I walked out of my appointment reassured, calm and happy.
