"Made to feel that they were in good hands"

About: Great Oaks Inpatient Unit / Laurel Ward

(as a relative),

Admitted from DRI with symptoms of delirium. Immediately he was admitted to Great Oaks we were made to feel that he was in good hands. We were impressed by the caring professionalism of the staff who remained calm and practical throughout his original episodes.

Over a relatively short period he began to get less stressed and this we believe was down in no small part to your wonderful staff. We would like to thank you all for restoring a little of his character and we move on in the hope that a little more will be forthcoming in his next placement elsewhere.

We found that the multidisciplinary meetings were particularly instructive and gave us a very good picture of his progress.

We’ve been racking our brains to identify areas of improvement but can’t come up with a thing. A huge thank you your all doing a fantastic job.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are so pleased you had a positive experience at a very stressful time. I will ensure this is feedback to the staff. I wish you and your loved one the best for the future.
