"Like a well oiled machine"

I recently had an inflamed gallbladder and was admitted to the Surgical assessment unit at Ninewells from the OOH at King’s Cross.

The care from the team was excellent.  The whole process was like a well oiled machine. Follow up was arranged with Mr Hayes for two days  after discharge. After full discussion, arrangements were then made to have the gallbladder removed at a later date. 

I have now had the keyhole surgery and again received absolutely excellent and professional care from all nursing, anaesthetic, theatre and recovery staff as well as porters and housekeepers. Thank you to the whole team and to Mr Joy for your expertise and lovely bedside manner. We are so lucky to have such professional care and an NHS.
