About: Jubilee Street Practice

Had a check-up today booked by a doctor. The consultant decided to cancel the blood test based on the fact I have had one 1 year ago. My cholesterol levels are hight, Ive been breastfeeding for 18months, has had tyreoid problems in the past and my hair keep falling ad like one year ago. I had to explain to the consultant the connection between lack of sleep ( due to baby) to tyreoid function so I could have a blood test re-booked for April ( because she was happy to leave me without one). She seemed to be just following protocols and not understanding why and showed lack of knowledge about health. Said I was in a low risk of heart problem without running tests even though i have family history. Such an upsetting and dismissive care.
