"Nothing was ever too much trouble"

About: Gynaecology / Gynaecology & Early Pregnancy Inpatients (Ward 36)

(as the patient),

I was recently admitted to ward 36 Ninewells with acute abdominal pain.

I would like to thank everyone who looked after me, either directly or indirectly.

My stay was made all the better because of the kindness, the excellent communication and the friendliness of the staff. The Consultants, registrars ,doctors, and medical students were very caring and professional and informative.

The staff in ward 36 are incredibly hard working, from the lovely domestic staff keeping the ward clean and being so friendly.  The amazing health care support workers,  always on hand and eager to help. What a fantastic bunch they are ! So friendly and caring and always a smile for you,  day or night.

Thank you for keeping me going in coffee and chats!

The lovely students,  who clearly love their placement and were so willing to help. 

The truly wonderful nursing staff for your wonderful care and kindness.  Each and every nurse day or night, was kind, caring, professional and approachable. Nothing was ever too much trouble. 

Thank you all so much for your wonderful care. Nursing at its best

Hi Ceeceebub,

thank you so much for taking the time to send this feedback, it really means a lot to the team to hear that you felt so cared for during your time with us. I will also ensure that it is shared across all the staff groups that you highlighted as looking after you so well.

I hope you are now resting and recovering and as you highlighted we are a whole team with differing roles but that work together to provide the best care for our patients.
