I was diagnosed with Ovarian and pelvic cancer in October. It was unexpected so was a body blow. But I was referred and started my chemotherapy in under the 60 days.

Everything about my treatment has been fantastic. The teams at Barnstaple Hospital, North Devon all work wholly as a Team and are really connected with each other. And they've really kept in touch with me too.

I recently had my CT scan, which will hopefully show the result of the treatment. And even the dietician phoned to speak to me. They're leaving no stone unturned. I can't fault them. They all work so hard, the nurses work 12 hour shifts and never complain.

I think they get little thanks but I have nothing but praise for them.

It is wonderful to hear how all the teams that are involved with our patients Cancer pathways have all responded in a positive and timely manner.

All of our staff have our patients at the very forefront of everything that they do and want to make the journey at a very difficult time as positive as possible, as they do appreciate how difficult it can be for you.
