Jaw Surgery

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Oral Surgery & Medicine ( Wards 63)

(as the patient),

I had double jaw surgery in the QEUH last month. I was feeling slightly anxious before my surgery, thank you to my anaesthetist Dr Darling and her team for putting me at ease before I went into theatre. Also thank you to recovery nurses Melissa and Shania for looking after me. After recovery, I was moved to ward 63. All of the nurses and health care support workers who looked after me were so kind and caring. The level of care provided was excellent. 

Overall it was a very positive experience and I am happy to have made a good recovery.
