"I felt listened to and supported"

About: Woodend Hospital / Elective Orthopaedics

(as a service user),

I had hip replacement surgery early February 25 at Woodend Hospital and wanted to express my gratitude for the exceptional care I received. From Nr Neilly and his surgical team to all the amazing staff I met throughout my stay. I felt listened to and supported to a very high standard on ward 7.

I did have to wait for longer than expected for my operation but was kept informed during this which was reassuring.

I would also like to say Thankyou to Mr Neilly’s secretary Lauren who was lovely to deal with and was very helpful. I am now 6 weeks post op and pain free …. What more could anyone ask for. I’m delighted and can now live a fuller, pain free life.
