I was very nervous about my son's surgery. I have been awaiting an appointment for some time and finally the day was here. My son was very nervous as well.

I have been in and out of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for years. I have been exposed to good service and bad service. 

However, when I attended my son's pre-assessment at the QEUH I was met by Helen. Whilst me and my son were nervous at first, she completely put us at ease. Helen was an absolute gem. Really took her time to explain everything and even made my son feel at ease. I am not one to leave reviews or share stories but I was so pleased with how Helen dealt with the pre-assessment, I just had to share this. Helen is an asset to the NHS and made a massive difference to my and my son that day. Thank you.
