About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Accident and emergency Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Fracture Clinic Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Medical Imaging Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I broke my left wrist and went to the A&E department late January 2025 staff - Jayne (waiting room nurse), triage doctor, John, Lewis, lovely lady assisting - Marvellous - professional and supportive.

Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery from the moment we are greeted on this ward to leaving, it is like a well oiled machine. I have the whole team to thank. Laura - surgeon (primary), Cara - surgeon, Lauren - anaesthetist, Charlotte, Claire (pre op nurses) Krishna (recovery), Simna (staff nurse took care of me all day) Lovely lady who greeted us in the morning. Professional, supportive with a lovely bedside manner.

Fracture clinic receptionists, Keely and Matt fracture room, Will - physio.

Naomi - trauma nurse, Phil nurse, Sabina - surgeon, Sarah physio.

Radiography - all staff. Receptionists in radiography.

It is overwhelming when I think of the amount of people who have taken care of me. I must thank who ever sends the follow up fracture clinic appointments I had my first in the recovery bed from the operation amazing. I was obviously shocked with my mind scrambled but through such great care and advice with such a competent team of people. I am on the road to recovery. Thank you all very much.
