"My time in Letham"

About: Cameron Hospital / Recovery & rehabilitation

(as a service user),

I don’t remember having my stroke but I had recently gotten my knee replaced in September 2024 and around 4 weeks later I had been sent to Letham to begin my recovery. I have been in Letham a long time and my experience has been a positive one. I ended up with 3 infections in my chest between November and December which had a negative effect on my rehab but after that my experience has been more positive and I was able to do the rehab needed to finally get home 7 months later. I found the staff pleasant whilst I’ve been here.
