I visited Carcroft doctors to request a repeat prescription of leg dressings on Friday March 7th at reception. The receptionist said it wasn't a problem and proceeded to do the request on her computer. I'd not had any confirmation aweek later,March 14th so I rang my chemist to be told they knew nothing about my prescription so I rang Carcroft doctors to be told there was no request input. I only had one dressing left by this time and that was on my leg. The receptionist said she'd speak to the practice pharmacist and ring me back. I had no callback but did recieve a text message not long afterwards to say my dressing prescription was now requested. Time forward to March 18th,I rang my chemist to ask if they had my prescription to be told the request had only just come through and now they had to order the dressings in. So I'm still waiting. I've not been able to bathe or shower myself,only strip wash which is not ideal as I'm semi-incontinent and need to shower. With not having dressings I've not been able to.
Did the receptionist on Friday 7Th March not put in my request? Even though she said she had.Doesn't appear to be the case.
