"Booking appointment "

About: Aurora Medcare

Several times it happened with me that whenever I called for emergency appointment at 8:00am. They advised me to call 111 or go to Upney lane hospital.

My question is if the surgery cannot provide service for existing patients why they are accepting new patients?

Receptionists are new and very unprofessional. Every time I feel really hard to get an appointment. I was too frustrated and I had to change my GP.

Dear Patient, may I begin to say I am sorry you have had cause to complain. Our urgent on the day appointments are released at 8am daily. We have GPs, Nurse Practitioners both adult and paediatric, paramedics and other associated clinicians providing urgent care. Once these appointments are booked our staff can direct patients based on symptoms to the Pharmacy Consultation service, 111 or book with the local GP/ANP service. Due to the high demand of appointments, meeting patient needs proves to be a challenge. We strive to provide care for all our patients by using our inhouse service and local services as provided by the NHS. Our sites are located in growing communities and we are obliged to address health needs of our local population. I am sorry to see you leave and wish you all the best. Sincerely, Kamal, Manager
