My daughter was admitted to the QEUH Glasgow in March and required emergency surgery that evening. I want to highlight the fantastic care she received as all too often we only hear negativity and complaints. I would particularly like to mention Jenna the lovely capacity manager who on my arrival personally took me to the recovery where my daughter was admitted to due to lack of beds.

The staff in the recovery were fabulous caring for her pre & post op, the Charge Nurse Andrea who put her at ease while admitting her then discharging her in the morning and also the surgeon and 2 anaesthetists who attended. It was overall an unwanted but very positive experience for which we are very grateful. Thank you.
