Attended endoscopy suite within Ayr hospital for gastroscopy/colonoscopy procedures.
From reception to discharge all staff performed their duties in a caring professional manner, ensuring that I received all necessary information and holistic care as required.
In particular, a huge thank you to those within endoscopy area who, provided words of encouragement and support throughout the procedure. As procedures were carried out without sedation, the caring attitude of the staff enabled me to relax, reducing my anxieties and therefore making the procedures much more manageable and less stressful.
It was an excellent example of exemplary care from all staff involved. Thank you.
